Adventure – Conservation – Community

Pittwater Eco Adventures is a β€˜profit for purpose’ environmental education company on the Northern Beaches. We provide hands-on volunteering and conservation opportunities for all ages in Sydney. Our beach cleanup, kayak cleanup, snorkel cleanup, microplastic sessions and recycling workshops all take place in Manly Cove. Our bush regeneration, tree planting, cultural immersion and eco-tours all take place in Pittwater.

Profits are reinvested to support our ongoing community engagement and advocacy. By attending one of our tours, retreats or school programs you are supporting these initiatives- so thank you!

We live and work in the beautiful Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, overlooking Morning Bay. We operate Pittwater Eco YHA, offering group accommodation, catering and guided activities. Each year we run a number of open retreats: creative retreats, cultural immersion retreats, bush regeneration weekends, all-inclusive eco retreats, give-back programs and more. We also run our Gold Duke of Edinburgh program each school holidays and countless collaborative events with corporate, school and community groups. Reach out to talk more with us about opportunities for you and your team/school/family/friends.

Did you know over 90% of all seabirds have
microplastic in their stomachs?

Since June 2020 we’ve hosted over 90 cleanup events, seeing a massive 1,680+ volunteers dedicate their time to removing plastic pollution from Manly Cove. Together we’ve spent more than 3,360 hours looking after your local beaches, waterways and bushland. Click the link below for more info about getting involved!

Our oceans and beaches are No place for Plastic.

The Ocean is an incredible place. Not only do we get to enjoy it for surfing, swimming, paddling and just general admiring, we also get to share it with an immense variety of marine life and unique ecosystems. But they can only survive with our help. Plastic pollution has not only caused major issues world-wide, but it is impacting us right here on the Northern Beaches. As part of our β€œLook after your local” campaign, we want to spread the message that we all need to take responsibility for our local area, our local marine life, and support local artists and retailers making a difference.

Follow our journey.

We acknowledge the Garigal people of the Eora Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the Country we work on. We recognise their continuing connection to the land and waters, and thank them for protecting this coastline and its ecosystems since time immemorial. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all First Nations people present today.
