Explore Pittwater

Join us for a blissful day on Pittwater starting and finishing at Halls Wharf, Morning Bay. Once you’ve arrived by ferry from Church Point, we’ll walk around to Morning Bay where our Kayaks and SUPs are kept, and gear up for the adventure! We’ll give you some instructions about staying safe on the water, and how to use correct paddling technique to save you getting tired too quickly. We’ll then hit the water where we can meander along the idyllic coastline of the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, exploring the nearby bays. If we’re lucky, we might see some local wildlife: on land we have black-faced swamp wallabies, echidnas, lace monitors, and a gum forest FULL of birds - namely the glossy black cockatoos who are very special to see. On the water we’ve seen everything from seals, dolphins, green sea turtles, little penguins and ‘smacks’ of jellyfish!

The route we take will depend a lot on wind direction. Our priority is to give paddlers an enjoyable experience on the water, so we choose the exact route most often on the morning of the tour. We are life-long locals and know the beaches, bays and bushtracks intimately. We will make sure to show you the most magical spots that Pittwater has to offer! A gourmet morning tea spread will be provided during the tour and lunch is an optional extra that takes place at the end.

The return ferries are at quarter to the hour, most participants end up on the 1:45pm or 2:45pm service, arriving back at Church Point at 2:10pm or 3:10pm.
There are cafes and restaurants at Church Point should you choose to have a beer or wine before heading home- you will have earnt it!

Sustainability is a major part of what we do, and who we are as a company. We want to show you the magic of this place whilst actively protecting it. We will witness and learn about local wildlife and threatened ecosystems throughout the day, provide bags for any rubbish we find along the way, and offer all food and drink in plastic-free packaging to ensure we keep our Oceans and Bushland safe and thriving!
